Kingdom Building
I continue to write Legacy of the Kings for the edification of the Church, and I pray that, through my writing, Christians are inspired to complete their assignment from God.
The Lord has called us to occupy until His return (Luke 19:13). There is an army of Saints that could sweep the Earth into an age of revival. Unfortunately, too many Christians are sleeping. They have traded their Bible for the comforts of this world. I believe their paralysis lies within their faith.
I was once asked, “What inspires you to keep writing?” I responded, “I am easily inspired. It takes no more than the wind blowing through the trees, but inspiration is fleeting. Don’t be inspired. Be determined.”
Determination is significantly stronger than inspiration. Inspiration may be the conduit that sparks a journey, but determination is the engine that will propel the voyage until the end.
Endurance requires determination, and those who endure will be saved (Matthew 24:13). Fuel yourself daily through Scripture, prayer and fellowship with other believers to achieve determination; endurance thereby ultimately increasing your faith.
This life is filled with temptations, anxieties and fears that wish to erode our faith. There’s always something to be worried about. Whether it’s family, friends, health, finances, global affairs and the lists continue on.
Although Christ had healed my depression twice over, there were still many anxieties attacking my faith. I needed more revelation to win my battle, and in my need, I was granted a trip that was out of this world.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”
