Where to Begin?

Where does a story like this begin? I used to think I needed the perfect starting point—something clever, profound, or impressive. But the truth is simpler. Every journey begins with a moment of honesty, and this is mine.

Life is full of pressure: bills, responsibilities, expectations, and the constant weight of trying not to fall apart. In the middle of all that, I learned something that surprised me. If you don’t find moments of joy along the way, the journey becomes overbearing.

Crafting Legacy of the Kings has never been easy. I wasn’t a writer. I didn’t grow up dreaming of publishing books. In high school, I barely survived English class. No one expected me to finish a novel—and honestly, I didn’t expect it either. I continued to write, and over time, the story grew into something far bigger than I imagined.

And that brings me back to the question: Where do I begin? I begin where all stories truly start—in the beginning. And that’s where we’ll go next.
