Grounded in Faith
The anxieties and fears that developed from my college experiment are no longer present. Yes, I can still become anxious or fearful during certain events. Yet, even during those perilous moments, I expel those feelings as waste from my mouth. It’s simply not allowed to enter my thoughts.
I purged my idols years ago and had two revelations through my experience. Even today, I do not neglect. Firstly, we are empty vessels that need to be filled daily. Stay full by praying, reading the Word and keeping His commandments. You’ll slay giants and move mountains that you thought were impossible to overcome.
Secondly; your trials, struggles, temptations and in all things, the Lord is watching. He is with you (Matthew 28:20). Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). His yoke is light. (Matthew 11: 28-30).
I became whole upon realizing that Jesus is always nearby. He cares for me. My burdens were lifted when I actively chose to learn how to give my anxieties to Him.
Take hold of these revelations for yourself. What idols are you harboring that could be preventing your healing? Purge them now! Ground yourself in Christ. He is watching and waiting to do amazing things in your life. It may cost you, but I promise, it will be nothing compared to an eternity with Jesus.
I’m beyond blessed that I had the opportunity to visit Heaven and speak with Jesus. I remember returning to my room and leaping up, “I’ve arrived!” And since then, I’ve only been trying to get back. So close, yet so far! I’ll be there soon enough; until then, I would like to invite you deeper into Legacy of the Kings: Reciliation (LOTKR).
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.”
